Its lines and proportions are therefore similar to those of tanks found on First World War battlefields; rectangular with its strap seamlessly integrated into vertical sidebars called "brancards". This very special Tank Louis we have on offer is the highly sought after CPCP (Cartier Paris Collection Prive) Tank Louis in yellow gold. It is an early CPCP Tank Louis without the central rosette motif on the dial. It comes with an 18k gold case that measures 30mm x 24mm, a modern and sensible size. The mechanical manual wind movement is powered by the legendary Frederique Piguet caliber 21.

Overall, this Tank Louis is in excellent condition. The case is in beautiful, unpolished shape and retains its original edge and curves. The original guilloche white dial is in clean condition. The watch was serviced by our partner watchmaker in April 2023. The watch comes with a black leather Cartier strap and its original yellow gold deployant clasp. The watch comes with its original CPCP mahogany wood box, red leather booklet holder, CPCP manual, and certificate of guarantee (unsigned, no stamp). It also comes with a Cartier wood loupe box (loupe is missing) which was sometimes included when one purchased a CPCP set back in the day.
