Where are you based, and is there a store I can visit?
We are based in central Tokyo, Japan. While we don’t operate a physical storefront and are online only, if you’re interested in purchasing a watch that is currently in stock, we’d be happy to arrange a meeting in Tokyo.
Where do you source your watches?
We source the vast majority of our watches here in Japan, though on rare occasions we acquire pieces from trusted overseas collectors if a watch is of exceptional interest. In addition, some of the watches we offer are consigned and entrusted by collectors in Japan to us.
For those watches sourced by us within Japan, we primarily obtain them through wholesale and estate auctions. Participation in these auctions requires a dealer license under Japanese law, and we are proud to be a licensed dealer, authorized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
How come your watches are priced lower than other Japanese dealers?
There are two main reasons why our watches are priced lower than other Japanese dealers. First, we are online only and do not operate a physical store, so we don’t have the high rent and overhead costs associated with a Tokyo storefront.
Second, we source and price our watches based on market data, aiming to ensure that all our watches are among the most competitively priced online. We achieve this by using Everywatch, a watch market pricing platform that tracks both current listings and historical sales prices, allowing us to price each watch accurately and fairly.
How do you price your watches?
Our watches are priced based on historical and current market data. We use Everywatch, a comprehensive watch market database that tracks current listings and past sales, including data from Chrono24, individual dealer websites, and auction results. By leveraging this data, we carefully source and offer watches at prices that are highly competitive in the market, ensuring you get excellent value for each piece.
How do I know that the watch is authentic?
We have over ten years of experience collecting and dealing in high-end watches, with particular expertise in vintage Cartier and Grand Seiko timepieces. We are also a licensed dealer in Japan, which requires extensive experience in authenticating watches and maintaining detailed records of all watches we source to ensure traceability and avoid mistakenly handling stolen items. Our license number is 第303272216776号, issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, providing added assurance of authenticity and trust.
I’m planning a trip to Japan; can I arrange to buy a watch from you while I’m there?
Yes, you can arrange to purchase a watch directly from us while you’re in Japan. Please contact us via the contact form on the watch listing, and we will set up a meetup. We are based in central Tokyo, in the Toranomon area, and the meeting will typically be around that location. If your hotel is also in central Tokyo, we can arrange to meet you there as well for added convenience.
