This Audemars Piguet watch is the epitome of purity. At first glance, there is an ethereal quality to the appearance. The case design is very clean and simple, and while it has a very thin case at just 5mm thick, the 18k-white-gold material feels substantial in your hand - especially when combined with the stunning custom made Audemars Piguet white gold bracelet that the previous owner specifically ordered for this watch. The dial is adorned with very fine indexes and a set of svelte baton hands to keep the zen sensibility alive. The movement is an ultra-slim mechanical caliber 2003, which is a technical feat. This caliber was introduced in November, 1953 alongside efforts by Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin. For a while, the 2003 was the thinnest manual-winding movement on the market, measuring less than 2 mm. It remained in production for about five decades, which is proof that this mechanical movement is not only finished beautifully, but has stellar reliability.

This watch is in great vintage condition.  The case is unpolished and has minimal signs of wear with just some minor scratches. The lugs are very sharp and is in excellent condition. The dial has signs of discoloration along the upper left edge of the dial as can be seen from the picture. In addition, although barely noticeable under normal lighting, upon close inspection, small patches of white on the dial may have been repainted at some point. These flaws on the dial are reflected on the asking price. Apart from this, the white dial is in clean condition with very few blemishes.

The main attraction of this piece is the white-gold, Audemars Piguet bracelet which was custom ordered by the previous owner to match this watch. It is in fantastic shape with the beautiful AP logo on the clasp in crisp condition. The watch recently went through a complete service and is currently running at -6.4 second / day. The watch comes with a 3 month movement warranty from us.
