This Audemars Piguet watch is the epitome of purity. At first glance, there is an ethereal quality to the appearance. The case design is very clean and simple, and while it has a very thin case at just 5mm thick, the 18k-yellow-gold material feels substantial in your hand. The dial is adorned with very fine indexes and a set of svelte baton hands to keep the zen sensibility alive. The movement is an ultra-slim mechanical caliber 2003, which is a technical feat. This caliber was introduced in November, 1953 alongside efforts by Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin. For a while, the 2003 was the thinnest manual-winding movement on the market, measuring less than 2 mm. It remained in production for about five decades, which is proof that this mechanical movement is not only finished beautifully, but has stellar reliability.

This watch is in great vintage condition.  The case is strong and retains its beautiful curves with just minor scratches throughout. The lugs are sharp and is in excellent condition. The original gold dial is in outstanding condition for its age. It has signs of minor discoloration along the lower right edge of the dial as can be seen from the pictures. Apart from this, the dial is in clean condition with very few blemishes.

The watch comes with its original yellow gold buckle which has the AP hallmark and engravings signifying the use of gold. It is in fantastic shape with the beautiful AP hall mark in crisp shape. The ultra thin caliber 2003 on this watch went through a complete service in November 2021 and is currently running at an excellent -7.1 second / day. The watch comes with a 3 month movement warranty from us. The watch will come with two straps - a Saffiano strap from Delugs and a generic Alligator strap (both pictured).
