Unlike the Tank, the Panthère isn't quite a household name. First introduced in 1983 during the heyday of opulence, the Panthère was praised for its sleek design, concealed clasp, and linked bracelet. It quickly became a huge hit among the who's who, men and women alike, with celebrities such as Pierce Brosnan and Keith Richards amongst the noted wearers.

This Panthère we have on offer is not your ordinary Panthère but a subset of the collection called the Panthère Ruban. Ruban in French means Ribbon and this watch was made to be both a jewel and a watch at the same time. The bracelet is long enough to fit both men and women alike. Although the dial integrated into the bracelet is small at 17mm by 17mm, the bracelet has enough presence to give it just a touch of masculinity without compensating for any of the elegance.

Overall, this watch is in excellent condition. The braclet has just minor surfact scratches which is expected from a watch of this age. The dial is very special featuring a white mother of pearl dial. The dial itself is clean with no blemishes. The watch comes with its original saphire cabochon pin which is used to set the time by setting the pin in a winder on the caseback of the watch. The quartz movement has just been serviced. This watch comes as a full set with its outer/inner box, international certificate of warranty proving purchase from a retailer in Japan, hang tag, papers and other accessories.
