The Patek Philippe ref. 4311 in 18K yellow gold is a refined and quietly striking piece, distinguished by its elegant rectangular case and diamond-set flanks that add just the right touch of brilliance. Measuring 22 × 25mm, it may read modest on paper, but the single fixed lug design paired with an 18mm lug width gives it a noticeably stronger wrist presence than expected.

Its black onyx dial is the true centerpiece—deep, glossy, and captivating—beautifully contrasted by sharp gold dauphine hands. The dial remains intentionally minimal, signed simply “PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE” across two lines, with “SWISS” at the base. Completing the look is a cabochon-style crown set with onyx, echoing the dial’s rich tone. Inside, the watch houses the finely finished, manual-winding caliber 16-250, a movement that reflects Patek Philippe’s dedication to craftsmanship.

This example is presented in excellent overall condition. The case appears unpolished, retaining crisp hallmarks and strong definition, while the diamond setting remains in superb shape. The original black onyx dial is clean and well-preserved, free from cracks or discoloration. The movement has been recently serviced by the previous owner and is running at approximately -6.7 seconds per day.

It is currently fitted with a generic black calf leather strap, along with generic spring bars and buckle. The watch is accompanied by a brown calf leather Patek Philippe travel case and an extract from the archives.
